What are the requirements of polyurethane foaming machine for the temperature, humidity and ventilation conditions of the working environment, and how do environmental factors affect the foaming quality?

Polyurethane foaming machine has specific requirements for the temperature, humidity and ventilation conditions of the working environment, and these environmental factors will directly affect the foaming quality.

Temperature requirements
Polyurethane foaming machine has strict requirements on the construction environment temperature. Generally speaking, the construction environment temperature should be kept between 10℃ and 40℃. This is because the foaming process depends on heat, including the heat generated by chemical reactions and the heat provided by the environment.

When the ambient temperature is too high, the material foams quickly, which may lead to excessive foaming, or even secondary foaming, causing problems such as bulging of insulation materials.

When the ambient temperature is too low, the material reacts slowly, which may lead to incomplete or incomplete foaming, thereby affecting the insulation performance and other functions of the material.

In addition, for some polyurethane high-pressure foaming machines, the operating temperature may need to be maintained between 50℃ and 70℃ (or 60℃ to 80℃) to ensure the normal operation of the machine and the normal dissolution of the polyurethane material.

Humidity requirements
The effect of humidity on polyurethane foaming is mainly reflected in the firmness of foaming bonding. The relative humidity of the construction environment should be less than 80%, and the base layer should be dry.

If the humidity of the air and the base layer is too high, the foaming material may not be firmly bonded to the base layer, resulting in perforation and other phenomena.
To avoid problems caused by excessive humidity, dehumidification treatment or brushing of moisture-proof isolation layer can be carried out on the base layer.
Ventilation condition requirements
Although the polyurethane foaming process is mainly carried out in the template cavity, the requirements for ventilation conditions are relatively relaxed, but ventilation conditions will still have a certain impact on the construction environment and foaming quality.

Good ventilation conditions help to keep the construction environment dry and at a suitable temperature, which is conducive to the normal progress of the foaming process.
In some cases, if the ventilation is poor, it may cause the temperature in the construction environment to be too high or the humidity to be too high, which will affect the foaming quality.
